KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Internal
- Reports to Human Resources Manager
- Line Managers / Department Heads
- Coordinate and function as part of the overall HR team
- All employees
External
- Liaise with Group HR team
- Industry contacts, institutions, association memberships, and trade groups
- Liaise and coordinate with suppliers (facilities, materials)
- Local and international training providers
Functional Area (Key Responsibilities
- Assist to provide full spectrum of HR functions including compensation & benefits, recruitment, training & development, performance management and employee relations
- Provide clerical support for Human Resources Department;
- Assist in ad hoc tasks and projects.
- Assist in updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Candidate selection, onboarding, and exit procedures
- Preparing the employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
- Ensures legal compliance
- Conducting investigations; maintains records
- Maintaining management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Maintaining historical human resource records
- Completing human resources operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
- Maintaining human resources staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
- Maintaining human resources staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results
- Contributing towards team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Achieving financial objectives by anticipating requirements; submits information for budget preparation; schedules expenditures; monitors costs; analyzes variances
- Build strong relationships with external suppliers, fostering trust and promoting collaboration
- Handle confidential matters with discretion
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Related degree / certification, preferably in – but not limited to – Human Resources / Management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
- 3+ years in human resources experience, preferably in multiple functions in HR.
- Excellent time and work load management skill, work independently with high attention to details, and ability to multi-task and meeting established deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ethical mindset
- Strong and proven analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence a high level of confidentiality
- Knowledge of employment laws and income and tax laws
